We are on our train to Edinburgh and our tracking is now live.
This is one of the fastest trains in the UK, with speeds of up to 125 miles an hour (we are currently doing 121). So for those who were wondering, we haven’t developed superhero powers…
Our destination today is Milngavie – on the north west outskirts of Glasgow – but we are going up the East Coast to Edinburgh and then catching a ScotRail train west.
This is one of my favorite UK train journeys as the coast north of Durham is beautiful.
Having said that, just half an hour into the trip, we are already traveling through countryside.
